The farm (19+5 sleeping accommodations) is situated in a green valley in the countryside north-east of Florence, just about 15 kilometres from the historical centre of Tuscany`s main city. Surrounded by vineyards used for the production of the celebrated Chianti Rufina DOCG wine, the farm is the ideal accommodation for those who dream of relaxing holidays in close contact with nature, but also for those who love art and culture: with its monuments, its churches, its exhibitions and its numerous cultural events, Florence is within a 20-minute car or train ride from the structure.
Accommodation
The farmhouse is divided into six apartments, four of whom are at guests` disposal. The apartments have been recently and finely renovated in the classic Tuscan style, using only traditional materials, and are furnished with good taste and provided with all comforts. Each apartment has direct access to the garden and a veranda furnished with table and chairs for eating al fresco.
Apartment FIENILE (4+1 sleeping accommodations - 2 double bedrooms - single sofa bed and 2 bathrooms): it covers a surface of 90 mē and spreads out over two storeys. Ground floor: living room and dining room with fully equipped on-sight kitchen. First floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded room and 2 bathrooms with shower. The main feature of this apartment is the wonderful balcony on the first floor, overlooking onto the Chianti hills and furnished with sunloungers and table for having breakfast al fresco.
Apartment GIARDINO (4+2 sleeping accommodations 2 double bedrooms - double sofa bed and 2 bathrooms): it covers a surface of 75 mē and composes of dining room with fully equipped on-sight kitchen and living room with double sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded room and 2 bathrooms with shower.
Apartment LOGGIA (6 sleeping accommodations - 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms): with its 100 mē, it is the largest of the four apartments and is divided into living room and dining room with fully equipped on-sight kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin-bedded room and 2 bathrooms with shower.
Apartment TORRETTA (5+2 sleeping accommodations - 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with three beds, double sofa bed and 2 bathrooms): it spreads over two storeys and covers a surface of 90 mē. The ground floor composes of dining room with on-sight kitchen and living room with double sofa bed. The first floor is divided into 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with three single beds and 2 bathrooms with shower. The tower offering a magnificent vista of the Florentine Chianti hills is the main feature of the apartment. The private outside area on a wonderful terrace overlooks a wide vineyard.
Facilities
Each apartment disposes of fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom for each bedroom, TV set, DVD player, heating, fans, private veranda furnished with table and chairs for eating al fresco, barbecue equipment and parking.
A wonderful swimming pool is at guests` disposal, furnished with sunloungers, chairs and tables for spending pleasant hours under the sun. The swimming pool lies in a gorgeous garden rich in fruit and olive trees and sweet-smelling lavender plants and surrounded by a well-tended lawn overlooking the magnificent vineyards around the estate. The swimming pool is open all day long for guests to freely dispose of it.
Just a few kilometres from the farmhouse are a riding stable and lake for sport fishing.
The structure offers optional services for which additional charges apply: laundry and ironing service, DVD hire, mountain-bike rental, catering service at dinner time, massages and beauty treatments, reservation service for museums and art galleries in Florence and in the neighbourhood, restaurant booking service, Tuscan cuisine courses, painting and watercolour courses, decoupage and embroidery courses.
