The farm holiday apartments are immersed in the Tuscan countryside, in the heart of Val d`Orcia, between San Quirico and Montalcino. The six apartments are a magnificent examples of rural architecture; they have been skilfully renovated and furnished with comfortable furnishings, respecting environment. Each apartment has an independent entrance and a private terrace or portion of garden.
At guests` disposal: a wide garden with swimming pool (7x15 m), table tennis table, bowls pitch, barbecue equipment, laundry and a common lounge for recreational and cultural activities. The farm consists in two buildings facing one another and divided by a wonderful paved courtyard. All apartments have an independent entrance and are provided with kitchenette and independent heating system.
Apartments
Apartment LIGUSTRO (Cipresso) (4 persons): this apartment is situated on the first floor with main entrance from the loggia. It is composed of a spacious dining/living room with a kitchen corner; a few steps lead to a small hallway with doors to the bathroom (with shower niche), to a double bedroom and to a twin-bedded mansard-roofed room. From the window of the double room you can enjoy a beautiful view of Montalcino.
Apartment GINEPRO (4 persons): this apartment is situated on the ground floor with main entrance from the courtyard (access equipped for handicapped). It is composed of a wide dining/living room embellished by a wonderful arch, with kitchen corner; two doors lead to the bathroom with bathtub and to the twin-bedded room. Descending a few steps you can reach the double bedroom, which has a further private entrance and from whose window you can discern Montalcino.
Apartment SULLA (6-7 persons): this apartment is situated on the first floor with private entrance from the loggia. It is composed of a spacious dining/living room with kitchen corner and a marvellous old hearth with inside benches, a double bedroom with private bathroom (with bathtub), a twin-bedded room, another double bedroom and another bathroom (with shower niche).
Apartment SALCIO (4 persons): this apartment is placed on two floors: on the ground floor there is a dining/living room with kitchen corner (with a view on Montalcino), climbing a stair you can reach the first floor where a small hallway leads to a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room and a bathroom. The view from the bedrooms is on the hill of Montalcino.
Apartment OLIVO (4 persons): this apartment is situated on the first floor with private entrance from an outside staircase. It is composed of a comfortable dining/living room with kitchen corner and a fireplace, a double bedroom and a twin-bedded room (both with parquet-flooring) and a bathroom with shower. The view from the double bedroom is on the hill of Montalcino.
Apartment TIGLIO (8 persons): This apartment is situated on the ground floor with private entrance from the courtyard. It is composed of a living room with fireplace, a dining room with fireplace, a spacious kitchen with travertine marble finishings, two double bedrooms (each with private bathroom), a twin-bedded room, a study, a mansard and another bathroom with shower.
Facilities and Services
With its renowned hot water spas, Bagno Vignoni lies just a few kilometres from the residential farm, as well as Montalcino, renowned all over the world thanks to its Brunello wine, and Pienza. Montepulciano, Castiglione d`Orcia, the Tyrrhenian Sea, Rocca d`Orcia and the abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore are within easy reach. Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Castellina in Chianti are a 50-minute car trip away.
