The farmhouse (10 sleeping accommodations) stands atop a hill near Chiusi, in the heart of Tuscany, in an area rich in Etruscan sites. The building is immersed in the green Valdichiana countryside, between Siena and Arezzo, and is surrounded by 20 hectares of vineyards and olive groves for the production of Chianti wine and Tuscan extra-virgin olive oil.
Renowned for their wines and cheeses, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza are just a few kilometres from the farmhouse. Cortona, Cittΰ della Pieve, Cetona, Sarteano and the lake Trasimeno lie within easy reach as well.
Those who want to relax and take care of their body can visit the spas resorts in Chianciano Terme and Bagno Vignoni. Tennis fields, golf club and riding stables in the neighbourhood. Possibility of hiking in the woods surrounding the estate.
Accommodation
The farmhouse (5 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) spreads out over two floors. The ground floor composes of living/dining room with satellite TV, videocassette recorder, CD player and Internet connection, fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, storeroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. The first floor is composed of 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower and bathtub (one is provided with hydromassage).
Facilities
At guests` disposal: the swimming pool (6x12 m), situated in the garden and furnished with sunshades and sunloungers.
In the pergola furnished with table and chairs for eating al fresco there are the barbecue equipment and a wood-burning oven.
The farmhouse is provided with satellite TV, videocassette recorder, CD player, phone in almost every room, Internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, American coffee maker, air conditioning, heating system and hydromassage bathtub.
