The Country Villa Volognano is a lovely Farmhouse accommodation built in mellow stone, it was a reclusive monastery during the 18th century, then a farm estate. In recent years it has been completely restored in typical tuscany rustic style, with terracotta floors, antique furnitures and beamed ceilings throughout. The farmhouse is pleasantly isolated with magnificent views across the Arno valley and the famous forest of Vallombrosa, gives you a unique opportunity to spend some relaxing days only ten miles from Florence and within easy reach of Siena Arezzo and Chianti region.
The farmhouse ( 6 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 4 bathrooms, 1 living room ) is divided into three completely indipendent apartments - self catering, all with well equipped kitchen and private terraces and can provide accommodation for 13 persons.
The holiday home is surrounded by a huge garden full of trees and flowers, with wonderful panoramic views over the famous Tuscany hills, inside wich a new above ground swimming pool has been installed in a new grassy area.

Outside steps lead the covered terrace and entrance at first floor level.

To the right of the sitting room is a passage way that leads to a double bedroom on the left with a nice bathroom with shower.
Then another two double bedroom (one with two single bed) and on the right a bedroom with single beds, in between a bathroom with shower.
There are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout.
The house has a central heating and a cot is available on request.
Outside the house there is a large terrace for eating out of doors.

This lovely accommodation for two is in a converted barn just a few meters distant from the main farmhouse and has two entrances from its spaciuous tiled terrace from where there are superb views down the valley and to the mountains, the terrace is private, with table, chairs and deckchairs.
The House is made up of an equipped kitchen to the left of the entrance hall, and on the right a bathroom with shower.
There are stairs that lead to the open plan upper floor wich has sleeping area with cast iron double bed, dining area and seating.
The room is very light with a large window looking over the valley. There are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings.

As you enter the front door from a lovely portico there is a spacious kitchen with large semicircular window. Two double bedrooms .
A door from the sitting room opens into a bathroom with shower while a curatined doorway, on the other side of the sitting room, accesses a double bedroom.
There are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings.
Outside a tiled terrace with beutiful views.

The Country Villa Volognano has a new swimming pool over the ground (8x4,50 mt) inside a bautiful panoramic garden, with furniture and a gazebo to have a shelter from the sun during the hottest weeks. Wine tasting : For groups of more then 6 personnes we can organise special courses (english and italian) an introductions to tuscany wines (one or more lessons) of wine tasting with an expert that will introduce you the basic informations on how to produce tuscany wines, the tradition of Chianti classico and the principles wines of the region, a guided tasting for discovering flavours and other secrets of outr wines (partecipants can choose the bottles they would like to taste) Dinner For groups of more the 6 people we can organize privete dinner inside the house: you can choose between six different menus for all kind of taste and prices, you can also decide to ask for special tuscany dishes.
