Profile
The structure (6 sleeping accommodations) is a typical Chianti stone farmhouse. It is situated in a small village on the hills surrounding Lamole, about 30 kilometres from Florence and 30 kilometres from Siena. The original 17th-century building has been renovated under the owner (an architect) and his wife`s (a stage designer) direction, in the respect of its ancient characteristics. The farmhouse strategically stands between Florence and Siena and is an excellent base for visiting the Chianti district and its cities of art, as well as for trips to San Gimignano and Volterra.
Accommodation
The farmhouse offers 3 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom. On the first floor there is a large living room with a functional kitchenette; the room presents a wooden trussed roof. The windows command the suggestive and harmonious scenery of the spellbinding Chianti Classico hills sloping towards Florence. The ground floor composes of 3 double bedrooms, all decorated and furnished in different ways, and 1 bathroom with shower. At guests` disposal: a terracotta-tiled terrace furnished with table and chairs and provided with barbecue lying next to the building.

The farmhouse is provided with heating system, fridge, oven, washing machine, TV set with video recorder and radio.

Church, grocer`s, a café and a restaurant are in Lamole, 1 kilometre from the farmhouse. Shops and services of any kind (post office, banks, chemist`s, emergency unit, tourist information service and supermarket) are in Greve in Chianti, 8 kilometres from the farmhouse, direction Florence.
