Profil The country house `Borgo Farmhouse` ( 10+2 sleeping accommodations ) is part of a small, medieval hamlet, in the Tuscany countryside, about 5 km from Montaione and only 20 km from San Gimignano. The centure of the small hamlet Alberi is composed of 4 stone houses, of which also "Il Borghetto" is part. Two holiday apartments are available; one rustic, but at the same time elegantly and comfortably furnished, offers space for up to 6/7 people. The other apartment, accessed through an external staircase, is situated on the upper floors and smaller than the first one, offering space for up to 4/5 people. It is possible to join together the two apartments, opening a communicating door, obtaining therefore space for 10/12 people.

Accomodation The country house `Borgo Farmhouse` ( 10+2 sleeping accommodations - 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms ) has 2 separate entrances. From the entrance at the ground floor we enter into a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, living-dining room with fireplace and a double sofa bed for additional guests, 1 double bedroom with fireplace, 1 bathroom with shower, staircase to go to the upper floor where there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower. From the entrance at the first floor we enter into a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. At the second floor there are two lovely bedrooms: one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Telephone and Internet connection.

Services and Facilities Outside the House has a lovely garden with table and chairs and a very nice terrace at the first floor. Both apartments have an outside space, terrace with garden or spacious balcony for outside eating. A path behind the house leads to the swimming pool (8 x 4 m), in a more elevated position in respect to the house and with panoramic view over the hamlet as well as the surrounding countryside. In the house next to "Borgo Farmhouse", lives the couple that holds the keys and that is also for any need at the guest`s disposal. Only a few hundred metres away, a bar/restaurant with shop. At Montaione, to be reached in about 5 minutes by car, there are shops and restaurants of any type.The spa resort Gambassi Terme is just 7 km away, the famous 18-hole golf course of Castelfalfi 10 km and Certaldo, the place where Giovanni Boccaccio past his last years of life, just 15 km. Borgo Farmhouse is situated in a very central position to visit San Gimignano (20 km), Volterra (25 km), Siena (50 km), Florence (50 km) and Pisa (50 km). It is therefore the ideal place for families or friends, to pass both, moments of relax and to discouver the beauties in the heart of Tuscany.
