Profile - Ancient farmhouse situated atop a typical Tuscan hill and surrounded by the expanse of white clay of the Crete senesi and by the relaxing agricultural landscape of the Tuscan countryside. On the horizon, the bell-tower of Sant`Anna in Camprena is to be seen, the place where the famous film "The English Patient" was shot. The farmhouse has been recently restored combining all modern comforts with its original rustic style. A terraced garden surrounds the building: the first of the three terraces (the nearest to the house) is furnished for dining in the open air, whereas in the lowest terrace there is a private swimming, at guests` disposal. The farmhouse is provided with private parking lot, washing machine, oven and an American-style coffee machine. Animals are welcome upon request. Equally upon request, guests are granted the use of a baby cot and a highchair. Thanks to its secluded location, the farmhouse is the ideal holiday accommodation for those who want to relax far from hectic city life. At the same time, the farmhouse is the ideal starting point for excursions to some of Tuscany and Italy`s major cities of art, such as Siena Florence Pienza, Montepulciano, Pisa Rome and Perugia.
Accommodation - The rooms of the two-storey farmhouse (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) are terracotta-tiled and furnished in the characteristic Tuscan rustic style. On the ground floor there are a wide kitchen/dining room provided with a large dining table, benches and fireplace and a small half-bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. On the first floor there are 1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded room and a bathroom. All rooms are provided with mosquito screens.
Services - Restaurants, bars, grocer`s and the post office are in Castelmuzio (2 km). The nearest bank is in Petroio (5 km). Bus service for Siena in Castelmuzio; bus service for different destinations in Sinalunga (17 km). In Sinalunga there are also more shops and services and the railway station.
