The farmhouse (10+4 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position atop a hillock in the heart of Val di Cecina, just a few kilometres from Volterra, the town of alabaster, and other important Tuscan tourist and cultural towns, such as San Gimignano and Colle Val d`Elsa. Situated in a natural reserve, the complex is the ideal accommodation for nature lovers, who could have the chance to see wild boars, deer, hares, pheasants and foxes during their walks and their mountain-bike excursions along the numerous pathways surrounding the farmhouse, and for those who desire to relax doing sports or discovering the flavours of the Tuscan cuisine: in fact, in the neighbourhood of the farmhouse there are riding stables and a golf course, whereas the complex includes a restaurant serving typical Tuscan dishes. The elegant rooms are cosy and warm and the farmhouse is provided with all comforts (satellite TV, CD player, hairdryer and dishwasher). The swimming pool (6x12 m) situated in the garden and open from May to October commands the wonderful Tuscan countryside. Guests can bask in the sun using the chairs, tables and sunloungers around the pool or can relax under the sunshades. At guests` disposal: laundry with washing machine, iron and ironing board, wood-fired oven, barbecue equipment and a welcoming tavern. Bicycles are supplied upon request for excursions in the neighbourhood of the complex.
Accommodation
The farmhouse (5 double bedrooms + 2 double sofa beds and 5 bathrooms) is divided into three apartments spreading out over two floors and is rented as a unit. The ground floor composes of fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and satellite TV, dining room, veranda, 3 double bedrooms (2 with en-suite bathroom) and 1 bathroom. The first floor composes of two fully equipped kitchens, two dining rooms, two living rooms with fireplace and satellite TV, 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both the living rooms on the first floor are furnished with a double sofa bed.
Facilities
The farmhouse is provided with a 6x12 m swimming pool open from May to October, satellite TV, barbecue equipment, CD player, hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board and wood-fired oven. Bicycles are supplied upon request.
