The villa (13+1 sleeping accommodations) is situated in Arsicci, a small village in the Casentino district, not far from the source of the Tiber, one of the most important rivers in central Italy. The villa is the ideal accommodation for all nature and art lovers: standing 850 metres above sea level, what once was the manor house of a farm is surrounded by numerous panoramic pathways, the most important being the GEA path, which follows the Apennine ridge along the whole Italian peninsula, whereas any important Tuscan and Italian cities of art, such as Sansepolcro, Monterchi, Anghiari, Pieve Santo Stefano, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi and Urbino, are within easy car reach. Not far from the villa there are also the Camaldoli Hermitage and the Sanctuary of Chiusi della Verna. In the vast park which surrounds the building there is the private swimming pool (11x5 m); the pool side is furnished with sunloungers, sunshades and a shower. A small dressing room is located next to the swimming pool. The front garden is furnished with outdoor tables and chairs; here there is also the barbecue equipment for guests to organise pleasant al fresco meals. In the park there are also a table-tennis table and a dancing platform with the place for the orchestra. The villa is provided with all comforts (satellite TV, Internet connexion, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, stereo system with CD player and DVD player). At guests disposal: baby-cots and three mountain bikes. Private parking lot for up to four cars.
Accommodation
The villa (5 double rooms, 1 triple room + single sofa bed and 6 bathrooms) spreads out over three floors. The ground floor composes of living/dining room with fireplace and stereo system, laundry-bathroom, wardrobe with ironing equipment and fully equipped kitchen. The basement composes of living room with fireplace, piano and TV, second living room with bar and billiard table, reading room and 1 bathroom. The first floor composes of 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (three with shower and one with bathtub), 1 twin-bedded room with en-suite bathroom with shower, 1 triple bedroom and a study with single sofa bed. Possibility of adding a baby cot in one of the double bedrooms.
