The villa (10+2 sleeping accommodations) is situated in Valdichiana, near Cortona, a small town of Etruscan origin in the province of Arezzo. The building is surrounded by a wide garden rich in plants and century-old trees and provided with night lighting system. In the garden there are the swimming pool, a smaller pool with hydromassage and a small outdoor gym; the area is provided with sunshades and sunloungers. In the distance Montepulciano is to be seen, renowned for its famous Vino Nobile.
Standing right in the heart of Valdichiana, the villa is an excellent starting point for visiting not only important Tuscan cities of art, such as Arezzo, Siena and Florence, but also Pienza, Montalcino, San Gimignano and Anghiari. Not far from the villa lie Chianciano Terme and Rapolano Terme, with their thermal establishments, and the lake Trasimeno. The area is also rich in entertainment facilities: close to the villa there are a riding stable and a tennis club and those who want a thrilling experience can fly over Valdichiana in hot air balloon.
The villa dates back to the 18th century and, although it is provided with all modern comforts, still presents many elements typical of Tuscan country residences, such as wood-beamed ceilings, stone and terracotta-tiled floors, black wood furniture and wrought-iron beds. A large roofed terrace is furnished for eating outdoor and is supplied with a table sitting 18/20 people.
Accommodation
The villa (5 double bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed and 4 bathrooms) spreads out over two storeys. The ground floor composes of living room with satellite TV and fireplace, study, dining room with satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and bathroom with shower. The first floor consists in a suite divided into living room with double sofa bed and 1 twin-bedded room, 3 double bedrooms (two with en-suite bathroom with shower), 1 twin-bedded room and 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub. The French doors in the kitchen open onto a small terrace at the back of the house, which overlooks Cortona.

The nearest town is Chianace (3.5 km), where there are some grocers`. Restaurants, shops, banks, the post office, chemists`, a tennis club and a riding stable are in Bettolle, 9 kilometres from the villa. In Sinalunga (14 km) there are a supermarket and the nearest railway station.
