Val d`Orcia is the name of a Tuscan region stretching in the provinces of Siena and Grosseto. Its landscape is mainly made of cereal fields, sunflowers, vineyards, bright-green gentle hills, and dark-green cypresses.

It is divided into the municipalities of Castiglione, San Quirico, Radicofani, Pienza, and Montalcino.

Renting a farmhouse or a villa in this corner of the province of Siena for one or more weeks means staying in a place that, due to its beauty, has been listed among UNESCO`s World Heritage Sites since July 2004.

Many important towns of Tuscany (Florence, Prato, Arezzo, Siena, and Grosseto), Umbria (Perugia, Assisi, and Gubbio), and Upper Latium (Viterbo) are easily reached by car from Val d`Orcia.
