The Church of San Lorenzo is a wonderful building in Romanesque style and is one of the largest and oldest Romanesque churches of the territory. The columns on the left date back to the twelfth century, while the right side was rebuilt in 1263. The apse was made by Galileo Chini. The works inside the church are ancient and valuable: seventeenth-century works by Vignali and other Florentine artists, a fourteenth-century wooden crucifix and a Madonna attributed to Giotto.
