Description

The elegant stone villa is perched on the hills of Mugello, a few kilometres from Vicchio, the village where the famous painter and architect Giotto was born in 1266.

A golf club, Mugello circuit, a famous outlet village and Lake Bilancino, which during the summer offers the opportunity to do water sports, are a few kilometres from the villa. Many paths curl around the villa, for pleasant walks, bike and horseback rides.

Florence historic centre is just a few dozen kilometres from the property and is easily reached not only by car but also by train from Vicchio railway station.

The villa is also an excellent departure point for visiting the villages of Mugello and Casentino and the wonderful Medicean villa of Cafaggiolo.


The Outdoors

In the wide garden that overlooks the valley below lies the private swimming pool (12x7 m; depth: 1.40-2.40 m) equipped with sun loungers and parasols.

A paved area is furnished for dining al fresco.

The washing machine and a bathroom with shower are in an external room.


Accommodation

The villa is a four-storey building that sleeps 15 guests in 5 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, and has 7 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

On the ground floor are a wide living room with a billiard table, a wood-burning stove and an access to the garden, the dining room with fireplace and access to the garden, and a half bathroom. Three steps below is the kitchen with a wood-burning stove and an access to the garden.
The first floor composes of a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
On the second floor are three double bedrooms (one with a private bathroom with shower), a twin bedroom, a bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and shower and two more bathrooms with shower.
A corkscrew staircase leads to the attic, which consists of a twin bedroom and a private bathroom with shower.
A further double bedroom with private bathroom with shower is seven steps above the second floor.

All of the bedrooms are air conditioned.
