Description

The villa is an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 17th century set atop a hill near San Quirico d'Orcia, in the heart of Val d'Orcia, the region in southern Tuscany listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The elegant U-shaped building still features some original elements, such as terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings and wonderful fan, groin and barrel vaults.

The villa is an excellent departure point for visiting the whole Val d'Orcia, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Montepulciano and many other Tuscan tourist destinations.


The Outdoors

A wide park bordered with flowers, plants and cypress trees surrounds the villa.

A paved inner courtyard connects the main building to a veranda and the swimming pool area.
The private swimming pool (15x7.5 m; depth: 0.90-2.30 m) affords gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The poolside is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower.
The veranda is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco.

A covered parking is at guests' disposal at the back of the house.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building that sleeps 12 guests in 5 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom and has 7 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, a large living room, the dining room with a fireplace, a study and a bathroom with shower.
The sleeping area is on the first floor and composes of five double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with private bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, outdoor shower, barbecue, fireplace, Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo system, oven, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, cot bed and private covered parking.
A domestic help and a cook are available upon request.
