The villa (14 sleeping accommodations) was built by order of the philosopher Augusto Conti, who made it his country residence, atop Poggio Buonaparte, which in the past belonged to the branch of Napoleon`s family living in San Miniato. Although it has been recently renovated, the luxury villa still houses numerous documents testifying its past and period furniture and decorations. The wonderful structure has wide and luminous rooms and is surrounded by a gorgeous 8-hectare park with private swimming pool with hydromassage facility, solarium area and panoramic terrace overlooking the luxuriant Tuscan countryside. The ideal accommodation for those who desire to relax in a luxury and charming atmosphere, the villa is provided with all comforts (satellite TV, air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue equipment) and is furnished with elegant period furniture. Those who want to grab the chance of a holiday in Tuscany to discover the flavours of the regional cuisine can attend brief Tuscan cooking classes with professional cooks. The same cooks can cater any special events guests may organise during their stay at the villa. In the neighbourhood of the villa there is a golf court. The famous Montecatini Terme spas are only 34 kilometres from the villa. The structure is situated in the heart of Tuscany and is an excellent starting point for visiting some of the most famous Tuscan cities of art, such as Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Siena and Pienza. Versilia and Livorno littoral are within easy car reach.


Accommodation

The villa (4 double bedrooms, 2 triple bedrooms and 6 bathrooms) spreads out over two floors. On the ground floor there are the fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and three living rooms. The first floor composes of 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms and 2 bedrooms with a double and a single bed. All bedrooms have their en-suite bathroom either with shower or bathtub; one of the bathrooms is arranged for handicapped people. The villa has a panoramic terrace.
