Description

The villa stands at centre of an estate on the hills west of Florence, in the Natural Park of Monte Morello.

The ancient building was erected between 1015 and 1272 and was part of a farm belonging to the Reverend Nuns of San Salvi.

Around the lodging are 80,000 square metres of woodland, pasture, orchards and olive groves. The wide park features one of the most ancient water springs in the Florentine hills. The estate includes also a vegetable garden, which is at guests' disposal.

The villa, which affords a wonderful view over Florence and the surrounding hills, has been recently renovated and luxuriously furnished.

The ideal lodging for having relaxing holidays in the peaceful countryside, the villa is just a few kilometres from Florence historic centre and its famous monuments. It is also an excellent departure point for visiting all of the most important tourist destinations of Tuscany.
A tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are in proximity to the property.


The Outdoors

The huge fully-fenced park is equipped with outdoor furniture for guests to relax and have their meals in the open air.

The private swimming pool (5x12 m; depth: 1.40 m) about 30 metres from the building and equipped with deck chairs, parasol and sun loungers commands the surrounding countryside.

In the garden is also a whirlpool bathtub sitting six people.


Accommodation

The villa is a three-level building; it sleeps 11+2 guests in 5 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 supplementary single bed and 1 futon bed, and has 6 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

On the first level are the kitchen, the dining table with fireplace, the laundry room, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and a single bedroom with ensuite half bathroom.
The lower level consists of a large salon, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and a third bathroom.
On the ground floor is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

All the bedrooms have a panoramic view.

A supplementary single bed and a futon bed can be added in two of the double bedrooms.

A cook, a domestic help, a breakfast and a shuttle service to/from the airport and the railway station are available upon request.
