Volterra is an Etruscan small town that today has a very well preserved medieval aspect. The whole area is known for its history and the discovery of important archeological finds.

The villa is a typical 1800 farmhouse. The owners have restored the entire property with modern services such as air conditioning, swimming pool with whirlpool area, Internet WI-FI Connection, cable radio and, at the same time, with typical elements of a 1800 farmhouse: wooden ceiling with exposed beams, floor in terracotta tiles and stone walls.

The villa has two floors. From the second floor, using a spiral staircase, you can reach the small tower in the centre of the roof, today a living room with sofas from where you can have a 360° panoramic view on the sorrounding hills.


Outside

In the garden of the villa there are a country-style dependance with a barbecue and a relaxation area.
The swimming pool has a whirlpool area and a closed part which is only 40 cm deep so children can play in the water safely. By the pool, there is a solarium with sunbeds, chairs and small tables for sun lovers and a wrought-iron gazebo with sofas and armchairs for those who prefer the shade.

The 5.000 square metre garden is fully fenced with an automatic gate and hedge rows protect the guests` privacy.


Accomodation

The villa (8+3 beds - 300 square metres - 3 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 5 bathrooms) is on two levels.
On the ground floor: full kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and sofas, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms. One bathroom has wheelchair access. The kitchen and the dining room have a door that opens outside into the covered part of the garden where guests can dine or relax on comfortable sofas.

On the first floor: two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, three ensuite bathrooms. From the first floor, access to the living room on the tower.

Opportunity to buy fresh bread from the baker that brings to the villa his products every morning.
