Description

The imposing and elegant villa stands in panoramic location in the mountains of Mugello, just a few dozen kilometres from Florence.

Surrounded by fields and chestnut forests, the property comprises a 16th century villa and an adjoining apartment, which is accessed from the outside. Both the villa and the apartment are furnished in a simple and comfortable style.

A golf club with an 18-hole course, Lake Bilancino, the circuit of Mugello and an outlet village with shops selling the products of the most famous fashion houses at convenient prices are near the villa. Florence historic centre is easily reached by train from the nearby railway station in Borgo San Lorenzo. The whole Mugello valley, with its magnificent Medicean villas, the National Park of Casentino Forests and the charming towns and villages of Casentino are within easy driving distance.

Occasionally the owners of the villa live nearby and are glad to help their guests in case of need.


The Outdoors

A large garden equipped with barbecue and furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco surrounds the villa.

A private swimming pool (10x5.5 m; depth: 1.10 m) and a children's swimming pool are a few dozen metres from the house.

A whirlpool bathtub sitting four is on the terrace next to the house.

The complex comprises the main villa and a small apartment and in total sleeps 15 guests in 5 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 single bed and has 4 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

The villa is a two-storey building sleeping 11 guests in 4 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom and has 3 bathrooms.

The raised ground floor composes of kitchen, two living rooms (one with the dining area) and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are four double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and a bathroom with shower.

The kitchen opens onto a terrace with the washing machine.

The apartment sleeps 4 guests in 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom and has 1 bathroom and 1 half bathroom.

A double bedroom is at the entrance level, whereas the dining area with kitchen corner, the living room, a twin bedroom with direct access to the outside, a bathroom with shower and a half bathroom are some steps below.
