Description

The villa is located in the province of Arezzo, in Valdichiana, close to Cortona, a small town of Etruscan origin renowned for having given birth to the painter Luca Signorelli and for being the set for the book "Under the Tuscan sun" by Frances Mayes. In the vicinity of the villa are also the hermitage Le Celle, where San Francis of Assisi lived for some years, and an important Etruscan tomb dating back to the 6th century BC. The villa is an excellent starting point for one-day trips to Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Perugia and lake Trasimeno.


The Outdoors

The building is surrounded by a garden furnished with outdoor furniture, where lies a swimming pool. The paved patio is furnished with garden furniture as well; here is the barbecue equipment.
In the garden lies also a nice fishpond.

The two-storey building sleeps 7 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, and has 3 bathrooms.
The ground floor composes of kitchen with fireplace, living room with TV set, one single room with fireplace and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are two double-bedded rooms (one has an ensuite bathroom), one twin-bedded room and another bathroom. One of the two double-bedded rooms is accessed via exterior steps.

The villa is provided with swimming pool, barbecue equipment, fireplaces, heating system, TV set, video recorder, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, American-style coffee machine, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, cot bed and high chair, uncovered car park.

The nearest village is Camucia (3 km): here are some restaurants and a supermarket. Other shops and services are in Cortona (5 km).


The Surroundings

The villa is situated in south-eastern Tuscany, not far from Cortona. Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Chianciano Terme, lake Trasimeno and Perugia are within easy car reach.
