Description

The house is an ancient cottage dating back to the XVII century that has been skilfully and elegantly renovated. It is situated about 5 kilometres from Arezzo city centre, in Valdichiana. The four valleys in the province of Arezzo (Valdichiana, Valdarno, Casentino and Valtiberina), as well as important tourist destinations in Tuscany and in central Italy - including Arezzo, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Florence, Siena and Perugia - are within easy car reach.


The Outdoors

The building is surrounded by 1 hectare of cultivated land.

About 30 metres from the house lies the swimming pool (14x7 m; depth: 1.5 m), provided with Roman steps and open from May to September. The swimming pool and the surrounding garden are exclusively reserved to guests.

Close to the swimming pool is a bathroom reserved to guests.

In the garden are also the barbecue equipment, a wood-burning oven and a covered car park.

The owners (a family of three people) live in an apartment on the first floor of the farmhouse. To enter their apartment they have to pass through the portico at front of the farmhouse, which is about 30 metres from the garden and the swimming pool.


Accommodation

The two-storey building is divided into three apartments. The apartments for rent are on the ground floor; they sleep 10 people in 3 double-bedded rooms and 2 twin-bedded rooms, and have 5 bathrooms.

Apartment A sleeps 4 people and composes of kitchen, large living room, one double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with shower, one bedroom with two single beds that can be united to form a double bed and with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Apartment B sleeps 4 people and composes of large living room with working fireplace and kitchenette and two double-bedded rooms, both of them coming with an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Another bedroom with two single beds and ensuite bathroom with shower (bedroom C) has an independent entrance.

Two sleeping accommodations for children are available upon request.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, wood-burning oven, barbecue, Internet connection, satellite TV, air conditioning (additional charges apply), working fireplace, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine (additional charges apply) and private covered car park.

A baby-sitting service and cook are available upon request.
