Description

The farmhouse is an ancient barn situated in the Upper Valdarno, in proximity to Terranuova Bracciolini, in the province of Arezzo. The farmhouse stands on the side of the Pratomagno mountain chain and is just a few kilometres from the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi. Thanks to its favourable location in Arezzo countryside, the farmhouse is an excellent departure point for visiting Cortona, Arezzo, Florence, Siena and other interesting Tuscan historic villages, such as Anghiari, Bibbiena and Sansepolcro. A few kilometres from the estate are several riding stables and some outlet villages.

The recently renovated farmhouse features wooden ceilings, ancient brick arches and terracotta-tiled floors and is furnished with period furniture.

The farmhouse is the ideal accommodation for those who are looking for privacy and peace. Guests are granted the exclusive use of the swimming pool and in case of need can contact the owners of the house, who live nearby.


The Outdoors

In front of the farmhouse stretches a garden with a pergola furnished with table and chairs.

On a small hill about 50 metres from the house is the private swimming pool (15x7 m), open from June to September.

A private car park in the garden is at guests` disposal.


Accommodation

The farmhouse sleeps 10 in 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, and has 4 bathrooms.

The farmhouse is divided into two apartments that cannot be rented separately.

Apartment 1 (90 m² - sleeps 4) composes of living room with fireplace, dining area, kitchenette, one double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and a bedroom with two single beds and ensuite bathroom with shower.

Apartment 2 (140 m² - sleeps 6) composes of kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, second living room, two double-bedded rooms (one with ensuite bathroom with shower), one bedroom with two single beds in the loft and one bathroom with shower.
The apartment has three levels of living space. The first floor is accessed both through the loft and from the exterior, through a covered terrace.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, satellite TV, fireplaces, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, safe and car park inside the estate.


Services

Baker`s, chemist`s, food shops and tobacconists` are in San Giustino Valdarno, about 3 kilometres from the farmhouse.
Two big shopping centres are in Terranuova Bracciolini (7 km) and Montevarchi (10 km).
Two outlet villages are respectively 12 and 25 kilometres from the estate.
The nearest railway station is in Montevarchi (10 km).
