Description

The estate is situated in Castelfiorentino, a village in Empoli countryside, in the province of Florence and includes two houses: the Villa and the Fienile. The Villa was originally a convent and was built around the year 1000. Both houses have an independent entry and garden. The whole estate is immersed in the green Tuscan countryside and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Florence Siena Pisa, Volterra and San Gimignano are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips.

Two renting formulas are possible:
- Groups up to 8 people can rent the Villa and are granted the exclusive use of the garden and the swimming pool;
- Groups from 9 to 14 people can rent both the Villa and the Fienile.

The owners of the complex live nearby and are glad to assist the guests in case of need.


The Outdoors

Both houses are provided with an independent garden furnished with tables, chairs, deck chairs and the barbecue equipment.

About 40 metres from the houses lies the swimming pool exclusively reserved to guests (4x8 m; depth: 1.20-1.50 m), open from June to September.


Accommodation

The complex composes of a Villa and a Fienile; in total it sleeps 12+2 people in 4 double-bedded rooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 3 bathrooms.

The Villa is a two-storey building with a livable surface of 250 square metres; it sleeps 8 people in 2 double-bedded rooms and 2 twin-bedded rooms, and has 2 bathrooms.

On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a fireplace. A door opens onto the fenced rear garden.
The first floor composes of a large living room, two double-bedded rooms, one room with two single beds that can be united to create a double bed, one room with two single beds that cannot be united, a large bathroom with a bathtub and a bathroom with two entries, one from one of the double-bedded rooms.

The Fienile is a two-storey building with a livable surface of 90 square metres; it sleeps 4+2 people in 2 double-bedded rooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 1 bathroom.

The ground floor composes of a fully equipped kitchen adjoining with the dining/living room, in which are a double sofa bed and a fireplace.
The first floor is divided into two double-bedded rooms and a bathroom with shower.
The French doors in the kitchen and in the dining room open onto the garden.


Facilities

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, wireless Internet connection, working fireplaces, barbecue, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer and private uncovered car parking place.

Two bicycles are at guests` disposal.

A cook, baby-sitting, breakfast and maid services are available upon request.

Access to the Estate

The estate is reached through a surfaced road. The last few metres are on a comfortably drivable unsurfaced road.
