Profile Farmhouse San Sepolcro is situated on a beautiful hill top 800 mts above sea level on the borders of Tuscany and Umbria. It is a place appreciated by people who like peace and tranquillity . The swimming pool is situated in the garden of the farmhouse and for those who like trekking there are many beautiful walks in the area . The Farmhouse is located in the Upper Tiber Valley . The Upper Tiber Valley is the region covering the upper reaches of the river Tiber. The hills on either side enclose countryside of exceptional beauty. A land of castles, abbeys, monasteries and medieval cities. It is a region of high artistic and cultural traditions, forming a "Heritage Valley" filled with works of art from every period. Monte S. Maria Tiberina, ancient fortress visible from every corner of the valley, Città di Castello, the most important town, rich in monuments and works of art, San Giustino with its impressive Bufalini Castel.

From here you can easily reach places of interest in both Tuscany and Umbria, Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Gubbio and Assisi. Lake Trasimeno with beaches, watersports and an enchanting island, accessible by a short boat trip, is within an hours drive. For longer trips, such as Rome, Arezzo (45 mins by car) has excellant rail links.

The young Italian owners, who speak English and live in the area practice Sahaja Yoga and are always happy to share their knowledge with visitors who want to relax completely . Sahaja Yoga and meditation lessons are free.

Accommodation The Farmhouse ( 7 beds in 3 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom with 2 bathrooms ) has been totally restructured according to the local original features and very nicely furnished .

In the first floor you will find a large kitchen with an huge fridge, a oven , a dishwasher, a cooker, a dining room, a double bedroom and a big bathroom .

In the second floor you will find three bedrooms (single beds ) , a living room and a big bathroom. Central heating is available so the Farmhouse can be rented also in winter

Where we are The nearest village is Lippiano (5kms). Five minutes beyond Lippiano is Monterchi, a hill town famed for its fresco by Piero della Francesca. The Madonna del Parto, shows Mary about to give birth and is the only major Renaissance depiction of the pregnant Virgin - amid the busloads of tourists are occasional pilgrimages of Italian mothers-to-be who come to pray at the sacred picture.
