Description

Situated in panoramic position atop a hill covered with olive groves and vineyards, the villa (16/22 sleeping accommodations) lies in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, about 20 kilometres south of Florence. In the 9-hectare park lies the swimming pool, which commands the surrounding countryside. Not only is the villa the ideal accommodation for visiting Florence, it is also an excellent starting point for one-day trips to many Tuscan cities of art and tourist destinations, such as Arezzo, Poppi, Stia in Casentino, Greve in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Montepulciano. Possibility of renting bicycles for rides in the neighbourhood and of organising Tuscan cooking lessons. Booking service for museums and restaurants in Florence and in the neighbourhood of the villa. Tennis courts, riding stables and a golf club nearby. Special events dedicated to vintage are organized in September and October, during which guests have the opportunity of working in the vineyards. Local guides organise one-day tours at competitive prices, including transportation and museum tickets. Upon request, a local cook prepares meals to be served in the villa.

The villa (4 triple bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms + 1 double sofa bed, 2 single sofa beds and 5 bathrooms) is divided into four apartments provided with hi-fi system, fan, iron, microwave oven and hairdryer. Apartment Michelangelo (3+2 beds - 60 m²) composes of living room with big fireplace and double sofa bed, kitchen, 1 double bedroom with third single bed and 1 bathroom. Apartment Giotto (5+1 beds - 65 m²): is composed of kitchen/living room with rustic fireplace and single sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with third single bed and 1 bathroom. Apartment Donatello (6 beds - 60 m²) is divided into kitchen, hallway/living room, 2 double bedrooms with third single bed and 1 bathroom. Apartment Montepescoli (4+1 beds - 60 m²): situated about 500 metres from the villa, is composed of living room with single sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with two single beds and 2 bathrooms.
