Description

The elegant vacation villa is situated in Reggello, a village on the hills that surround Florence, less than 30 kilometres from the capital of Tuscany. The building stands in panoramic position 330 metres above sea level and has a wonderful view of the valley of the Arno River.

The villa is situated in a 25-hectare estate in a protected game restocking area. Around the building stretch the vineyards and olive groves of the estate, used to produce DOCG Chianti wine, Vin Santo, Grappa and extra-virgin olive oil.

The villa is the ideal accommodation for those who would like to relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and spend their vacations in close contact with pure nature. Guests can have peaceful walks and bike rides along the paths and narrow countryside streets that stretch around the estate.

The Abbey of Vallombrosa, as well as two wonderful examples of Romanesque architecture such as the Pieve a Pitiana and the Pieve di San Pietro a Cascia are a few kilometres from the farm.

Sporty guests can visit the riding stable and the tennis club in proximity to the villa, whereas shopaholics can easily reach a big outlet village where they can purchase high fashion items at keen prices.

Lately renovated with an eye to preserving its original structure and atmosphere, the villa is furnished in rustic style and with period items, and features some elements tyoical of Tuscan country houses, such as stone walls and beamed ceilings. The villa is also an excellent location for weddings and ceremonies.


The Outdoors

The villa is surrounded by a 10,000-square-metre garden that commands the valley of the Arno River and the Chianti hills and is equipped with a table for having meals al fresco. In the garden there is also the OLD BARN, a building of about 50 square metres where guests can attend yoga, painting and ceramics lessons.

About 20 metres from the house lies the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 0.80-2.50 m).


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building; it sleeps 13 people in 5 double bedrooms and 1 triple bedroom, and has 4 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

On the ground floor are the fully equipped kitchen, the dining area with fireplace, a small loggia opening onto the garden, a large living room, the bar area, a laundry room and a half bathroom.

The first floor composes of five double bedrooms (two with ensuite bathroom), a triple bedroom, a wardrobe room and two bathrooms.
