Description

The elegant farmhouse with fireplace, Jacuzzi bathtub, large swimming pool exclusively reserved to guests, olive grove with 80 trees, orchard and vegetable garden is situated in a hamlet in Valdarno, between Florence, Arezzo and Siena. All of the three Tuscan towns are within an hour's drive and all services are within short walkable distance. The Park of Cavriglia, with its animals and walking trails, is 10 minutes from the property, whereas Radda in Chianti is within a 15 minutes' drive. In proximity to the estate are also the vineyards, olive groves and medieval towns of the Chianti Classico district.

The owners are at guests' disposal for any suggestion on what to visit, the best shops selling the excellent traditional Tuscan products, where to go for food-and-wine tasting and the best ways to reach the most important Tuscan cities, and since they live in the estate, they can be contacted in case of need.

The farmhouse is the ideal departure point for visiting the Chianti district, Val d'Orcia and Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Chianciano Terme, Cortona, San Gimignano, Siena and the outlet villages The Mall, Prada and Valdichiana. Trains to Florence and Arezzo stop at the nearby railway station. More distant towns such as Pisa and Lucca, are reached in a 2 hours' drive by the A1 motorway situated just 20 minutes from the property.


The Outdoors

The building is surrounded by a garden and an olive grove and features a wide paved terrace furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco. The glass doors of the kitchen and the living room open directly onto it.

About 10 metres from the building lies the swimming pool exclusively reserved to guests (5x15 m; depth: 1.20-2.40 m), with a solarium area equipped with deck chairs, parasols, tables and outdoor shower. Guests are granted the use of the barbecue equipment and of the herbs cultivated in the estate.


Accommodation

The two-storey building has a floor space of over 200 m² and sleeps 8+2 guests in 1 double bedroom with canopy bed, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedroom connected to a second bedroom with bunk bed and ensuite bathroom.

On the ground floor are the fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with fireplace, sofas and a direct access to the outdoors near the swimming pool, a long table and a bathroom with shower.

The bedrooms are on the first floor, where are also a balcony, a reading area and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub. The bedroom with the canopy bed is in the tower of the house and is accessed by a winding staircase on the first floor.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool, olive grove, fireplace, Wi-Fi Internet connection, TV set, DVD player, stereo system with CD player, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, safe and private car parking place.

In the reading area are books in various languages, DVDs, maps, leaflets and tourist information material. A small tourist guide prepared by the owners and containing various itineraries at the discovery of the beauties of Tuscany with distances and travelling times is at guests' disposal.

A bus stop is 500 metres from the estate. The nearest railway station, with trains reaching Florence and Arezzo in 30 minutes, is 9 kilometres away.
Shopping centres and multi-screen cinemas are less than 10 kilometres from the property.
