Description

Casale Carmignano (9 beds) is situated in Carmignano, 18 kilometers off the historical center of Florence. This farmhouse was built in the 18th century in one of the most interesting areas of Tuscany. Near the farmhouse there is the Medicean villa of Poggio a Caiano. Florence, one of the most important historical cities of the world; Prato and Pistoia are only few kilometers away. In the neighbourhood, there is also Vinci, where Leonardo was born. In the countryside around the farmhouse take place many feasts and folkloric events. Four hectares of orchards and olive groves surround Casale Carmignano. The guests can taste the extra-virgin olive oil, the fruits and vegetables produced in the farmhouse.


Accomodation

The farmhouse is a semi-detached house and has a garden and a swimming pool at exclusive use to the guests. Casale Carmignano (290 sq. m.) sleeps 9 in 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with three beds. It has 4 bathrooms. On the ground floor there are a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry and a dining room. On the first floor there are three double rooms, all with a private bathroom with shower, a living room and another wide living room with fireplace, kitchenette and a sofa bed for two. On the second floor there are a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a bathroom with shower.


Facilities

Outside there are a wide terrace with barbecue and a veranda. Both are provided with a lighting system. Garden and parking. Round swimming pool with lighting system and warm shower. Guests can make use of 2 bicycles to move around the countryside.
