Description

The farmhouse is an imposing stone building dating from the 15th century situated near a charming medieval hamlet a few kilometres from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (Lucca). The farmhouse affords wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

The farmhouse is an excellent lodging for pleasant holidays in close contact with nature and for visiting the picturesque villages of Garfagnana. A tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are a few kilometres from the property.

The farmhouse has been renovated with an eye to preserving its original structure, and the rooms still feature stone or terracotta-tiled floors and chestnut ceilings.


The Outdoors

A fenced garden surrounds the farmhouse.

The private swimming pool with whirpool area (8.50x3.50 m; depth: 1.40 m) in front of the house is equipped with sun loungers, a parasol and an ancient stone table.

The farmhouse is a three-storey building that sleeps 14 guests in 4 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom for a child, and has 6 bathrooms.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen, a living room with fireplace, the dining room and a bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of entry hall with fireplace, living room with fireplace, a double suite with ensuite bathroom with shower and a small bedroom for a child, a double bedroom and another bathroom with shower.
The second floor consists of a bedroom with three single beds and ensuite bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a second double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

An outdoor loggia on the first floor is furnished for alfresco dining.
The first floor is accessed both from the inside and the outside.
The second floor has a direct access to a rooftop loggia affording a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool with whirlpool area, barbecue, fireplace, Internet connection, TV set, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and cot beds.
A domestic help is available upon request.
