Description

The property is immersed in the green countryside at the border between Tuscany and Umbria and comprises a main cottage and its outbuilding, situated just a few metres apart. The windows of the two buildings and the garden afford wonderful views of nearby Monterchi, a medieval town that houses one of Piero della Francesca's masterpieces: the Madonna del Parto.

The farmhouse is also an excellent departure point for visiting many cities of art and places of tourist interest in Tuscany and central Italy, such as Arezzo, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangelo, Gubbio and Perugia, which are all within easy driving distance.


The Outdoors

A wide garden equipped with masonry barbecue and a table with chairs for al fresco meals surrounds the two buildings.

The private swimming pool (11x6 m; depth: 1.40 m) a few metres from the main cottage is fully fenced.

The property comprises two units; in total it sleeps 14 guests in 7 double bedrooms and has 5 bathrooms.

The main cottage is a three-storey building that sleeps 12 guests in 6 double bedrooms and has 4 bathrooms.
The ground floor composes of dining area with kitchen corner and fireplace, living room with dining area sitting 14, a double bedroom with direct access to the garden and a private bathroom with shower, a second double bedroom and a second bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are a dining area with kitchen corner, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The second floor composes of two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

The outbuilding consists of a dining area with kitchen corner, a loft with a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and sleeps 2 guests.

Five of the bedrooms can be converted into twin bedrooms upon request.
