Description

The elegant farmhouse stands in panoramic location on the hills of Chianti, halfway from Florence and San Gimignano. The windows and the garden that surrounds the house afford splendid views of the surrounding olive groves and vineyards.

Thanks to its strategic position in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, the farmhouse is an excellent departure point for jaunts not only to the above-mentioned Florence and San Gimignano, but also to Pisa, Siena, Volterra, Lucca and many other more or less renowned cities of art and for pleasant tours of the Chianti wineries.

The brick building has been renovated with an eye to preserving its original architectural structure, and the rooms feature some typical elements of the traditional rural style of Tuscany, such as warm terracotta-tiled floors and brick vaulted ceilings.

The owners of the farmhouse live nearby and are glad to help their guests in case of need.


The Outdoors

A wide garden equipped with two gazebos and outdoor furniture surrounds the building.

The private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.40 m) overlooks the surrounding countryside and is exclusively reserved to guests. A shower (warm water) is next to the swimming pool.

The barbecue equipment is at guests' disposal.


Accommodation

The imposing farmhouse is a two-storey building that sleeps 10 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms and has 4 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, a bright living room with fireplace, a laundry room, two double bedrooms (one with air conditioning) and two bathrooms with shower.
On the first floor are a kitchen with dining area, a wide living room with fireplace, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, two twin bedrooms (one with air conditioning) and a bathroom with shower.

The two twin bedrooms can be converted into two double bedrooms upon request.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, outdoor shower, barbecue, fireplace, Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player with a collection of CDs, air conditioning, oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing equipment, cot bed and private car parking place.

A domestic help is available upon request.
Dinners with traditional Tuscan menu are organised upon request.
