Val d`Orcia is the name of a Tuscan region stretching in the provinces of Siena and Grosseto. Its landscape is mainly made of cereal fields, sunflowers, vineyards, bright-green gentle hills, and dark-green cypresses.

It is divided into the municipalities of Castiglione, San Quirico, Radicofani, Pienza and Montalcino

Many important towns of Tuscany (Florence, Prato, Arezzo Siena and Grosseto), Umbria (Perugia, Assisi, and Gubbio), and Upper Latium (Viterbo) are easily reached by car from Val d`Orcia.
