You could leave your villa or farmhouse in Siena around 6.00 pm, when the sun begins to hide behind the hills covered with sunflowers and vineyards and it is "happy hour" time.

Many bars and cafes in Siena historical centre offer appetizers, canapés, warm and cold dishes and cakes. You just have to help yourself and order a cocktail or a glass of good wine.

After the aperitif (given the abundance of food and the low cost, you call it a real dinner), you could go to some disco-pub and listen to some live music or enjoy the virtuosities of some DJs.

In the town of the Palio there is plenty of Irish pubs and Bavarian-style beerhouses dedicated to those who like all things foreign.

It is midnight, the hour of... discos!
The largest and most famous ones are out of Siena; however, in the city centre there are some good clubs for those who like dancing at night.

And before going to sleep, looking for a bakery or a confectioner`s where to buy a warm croissant is a must.

Just some pieces of advice.
First of all, if you are looking for the best pubs and discos, just follow the flow of University students.
Second, unlike in other parts of Italy, in Siena (and in Tuscany in general) croissants are called paste.
